Shark dives
In the period from November to February you have the possibility to dive with bull sharks (Carcharhinus Leucas). These wonderful animals can be found in warm shallow waters along coasts and even up some rivers. They are known to be the only shark species that can survive in both fresh and salt water.
For generations, female bull sharks have come to the Riviera Maya during the winter season to give birth. In the coastal region near the mangrove forests, the pregnant females give birth to their pups. The baby sharks develop in the womb of their mothers and are born alive. After birth they are ready to hunt.
We offer 2 types of Shark Dives.

Shark Feeding
The shark feedings are conducted by professional shark specialists who have all completed an intensive training program. Part of the revenue is invested into the protection of these amazing animals. The dive takes place at a depth of about 24 meters, or 80 feet. Once the said depth is reached, divers kneel on the sandy bottom and enjoy the exhilarating show. Every shark enthusiast must experience this spectacle at least once in their life.
